學院位于北京市中部-順義區,鄰近首都國際機場。北面是中影集團中國(懷柔)影視基地、北京電影學院新校區,南面是北京國際展覽中心、雅昌文化集團、中央美術學院、北京798文化創意基地。依托于這些優質的教育資源設立了視覺傳達設計、環境設計、產品設計、數字媒體藝術、動畫、戲劇影視美術設計共六個藝術類本科專業。在校生1200余人。
學院確立了“開放式、國際化、應用型”辦學定位。致力于培養以國際視野為先導、以人文精神為基礎、以創造性思維與應用能力為核心,具有健康完善人格、適應時代發展的復合型、應用型藝術類高級專門人才。
Gengdan Academy of Design (GAD) is located in central Beijing, Shunyi District, near to the Capital International Airport. To the north, you can find the China Film Group (Huairou) Film and Television Base and the Beijing Film Academy (New Campus). To the south, you can discover the Beijing International Exhibition Center, the Artron (Yachang) Art Group operation base, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the Beijing 798 Cultural and Creative artistic community. With these high-quality educational resources, Gengdan Academy of Design has established six undergraduate programmes, including Visual Communication Design, Environmental Design, Product Design, Digital Media Art, and Animation, as well as Theater and Film Art Design. There are currently more than 1,200 undergraduate students enrolled onto these courses.
GAD has established an "open, international and practical" approach to learning. It is committed to cultivating experienced professionals in the field of applied arts with international vision, humanistic spirit, creative thinking, and a practical skillset, combined with a healthy well-rounded personality that facilitates adaptability with the development of the times.

注重學生個性化發展,給學生充分的選擇和選擇的規范;幫助學生發現自己,按照適合自己發展的路徑自主規劃、學習、發展。學生入校后可以選擇中文授課班或英文授課班;自主選擇專業、選擇應用實踐課程、選擇畢業設計與就業實習及創新創業課程。全過程培養學生獨立思考和持續發展的素質能力。

Gengdan Academy of Design focuses on students' personalized development and gives students full autonomy and choice to discover themselves, plan, learn and develop independently according to their own career paths and aspirations. Students can choose classes taught in Chinese or classes taught in English. They can also choose programmes, applied practical courses, graduate projects, and employment internships, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship courses. The whole process aims to cultivate students' ability to think independently and sustain continuous development.
?In the first academic year: basic cognitive course and professional foundation course modules;
?In the second academic year: professional core course modules;
?In the third year: professional applied practical course modules (students can choose studios and projects across programmes and disciplines);
?In the fourth year: graduation project, employment internship practical courses (students can choose independently);
?Fully open and comprehensive curriculum for classes taught in Chinese and classes taught in English (international classes), which students can choose to enter or leave according to the specification requirements during the learning process.

2017年加入聯合國唯一認證的國際藝術設計院校聯盟(Cumulus),已經與47所國外高校建立合作關系。聯手國內外重點高校、企業院所,并以工作室的方式聘請高校教授、企業院所一線專家和專職教師一道以項目及問題為導向組織實踐教學;工作室連接企業,已經與廣東順德創新設計研究院及工業設計城、雅昌、思特科技、倍視、達索等數十家國內外企業建立深度合作關系,學生進入企業實習實踐3-5個月;校內聯合工、商、文其它學科專業,探索跨專業工作室課題實踐教學;系統的實踐教學,為高質量就業提供了保障。
學院主要通過聯校、聯企、聯外,整合了國內外重點院校教授、企業一線專家、學院專職教師等三支力量,已經形成了百余人的國內外教師團隊。其中副高職稱(含高級工程師)以上教師38人,90%以上具有碩士以上學位, 70%以上具有企業背景, 80%以上具有海外留學經歷。
目前,英文授課班、國際課程、國際工作坊、校企聯合工作室、企業實習實踐課程等多方式組織教學,已經成為辦學常態。
In 2017, GAD joined Cumulus (The International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media); the only UN-accredited international art and design consortium, and, as such, has established cooperative relationships with 47 foreign universities. In cooperation with key universities and enterprises at home and abroad, GAD also employs professors from renowned universities, front-line experts from enterprises and institutes and full-time teachers who organize practical teaching approaches driven by project assignments and problem-solving tasks. It also has formed in-depth partnerships with dozens of domestic and foreign enterprises, such as Guangdong Shunde Innovative Design Institute and Industrial Design City, Artron, Gooest, BaseFX, Dassault, and so on. Students also have the opportunity to undertake 3–5 month internships with the partnership enterprises. GAD has joined hands with Schools of Engineering and Schools of Business and Humanities to explore the practical teaching of inter-disciplinary topics. These systematic and practical teaching methods guarantee high-quality employment prospects.
GAD has formed a team of more than 100 teachers from home and abroad, mainly through integrating professors from key institutions at home and overseas, front-line experts from enterprises and full-time teachers. There are 38 teachers with associate titles (including senior engineers) or even higher seniority. Over 90% of teachers have master's degrees or above; over 70% have a business background, and over 80% have overseas study experience.
Currently, there are multiple educational strategies in action, such as classes taught in English, international courses, international workshops, joint school-enterprise workshops, and practical courses within enterprises, which have become the norm in the running of GAD.

1.英文授課班項目特點:
? 采用國際認證課程計劃,為學生未來留學提供課程對接保障。
? 聘請外教參與專業核心課程教學。
? 英語教學,有專門的雅思英語教學計劃,外教和中教聯合授課。
? 本科雙學位獲取,修完計劃內課程、并在國外學習一年以上,達到國外院校學位學分要求,將同時獲取外國院校學士學位。根據學生英語水平提升情況,采用“1+3”“2+2”“3+1”分批出國學習。
? 視覺傳達 16 級英文授課班學生專業課 100% 通過歐盟外考官審核,100% 學生參加國內外賽事并獲獎,大三學年學生英語通過雅思 5.5 達到 87%,學生去往英國考文垂大學、愛爾蘭理工大學、歐洲大學等 9 所國際高校攻讀雙學位?,F65% 以上學生考取英國皇家藝術學院、倫敦藝術大學中央圣馬丁學院、美國薩凡納藝術學院、芝加哥藝術學院等名校碩士研究生繼續深造。
2. 伊拉斯謨(Erasmus Programme+)免學費交換生歐盟項目:時長為一個學期。
3. 國際工作坊游學項目:時長為 10-15 天,聯合國際藝術類高校在世界各地舉辦主題工作坊教學。
4. 提供 3+1+2、2+2+2、2+5 等本碩連讀項目供學生們選擇。
GAD joined the only UN-accredited International Consortium of Art and Design Schools (Cumulus) in 2017 and has now formally established cooperation with 47 foreign universities. It started offering English-taught classes for the Visual Communication Design programme in 2016 and the Environmental Design programme in 2018.
1. Features of the programme taught in English
?Adopt an internationally accredited curriculum, providing students with the foundation for future study abroad.
?Employ foreign teachers to participate in the teaching of the professional core courses.
?English-taught lessons, with special IELTS English teaching plans and joint teaching by foreign teachers and Chinese teachers.
?Obtain undergraduate double degree upon completing the programme and studying abroad for more than one year. Students who meet the degree credit requirements of foreign institutions will simultaneously obtain the bachelor's degree of said foreign institutions at the same time. Depending on students’ English proficiency levels, they can study abroad in batches of "1+3", "2+2", and "3+1".
?100% of the students from the 2016 Visual Communication International class cohort passed the EU External Examiner's examination, 100% participated in domestic and international competitions and won awards, and 87% passed IELTS 5.5 in their third year. Students pursued double degrees at nine international universities, including Coventry University, the Polytechnic University of Ireland and the European University. More than 65% of our students are enrolled in master's programmes at the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins, Savannah College of Art and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
2. Erasmus Programme+: a one-semester, tuition-free exchange student programme of the European Union.
3. International Workshops: 10-15 thematic workshops with international art universities worldwide.
4. 3+1+2, 2+2+2 and 2+5 undergraduate and master’s programmes are available for students.

一種開啟創造力的體驗式開放性教育教學空間
Open and experiential teaching spaces to spark creativity
教學場、工作場、展示場、交流場、運動健身場等情景體驗教學空間及功能設施齊備。有獨立的藝術樓教學區,實驗室15個、工作室16個、總面積19000m2 ,有共享的圖書館、綜合基礎教學區、跨專業創新創業實踐中心、體育館及體能拓展訓練中心。
The campus has teaching spaces and functional facilities such as teaching rooms, workshops, exhibition areas, communication spaces and sports and fitness fields. There are independent teaching areas in the Art Building, 15 laboratories and 16 studios with a total area of 19,000 square meters, a shared library, a comprehensive essential teaching area, an interdisciplinary innovation and entrepreneurship practice centre, a gymnasium, and a physical development training centre.

辦學以來,每年就業率在97%以上,知名央企、國企、外企、私企及事業單位都有國際設計學院學生身影,數十人創業成功。
有部分學生考取中央美術學院、清華大學、北京大學、人民大學、北京理工大學、北京服裝學院、英國皇家藝術學院、倫敦藝術大學、羅德島藝術學院、薩凡納藝術學院、芝加哥藝術學院、舊金山藝術學院等國內外一流藝術類大學研究生。學生參加國內外各類賽事達四千余人次,并獲取各類獎項;例如在北京市高校創業大賽中榮獲一等獎,在全國大廣賽中連續多年榮獲金銀銅牌獎。
Since the academy was founded, the annual employment rate for graduates has exceeded 97%. GAD students and graduates have worked in well-known central government departments, state-owned enterprises, foreign enterprises, private enterprises and public institutions, and dozens of them have successfully started their own businesses.
Some students have been admitted to the graduate schools of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Institute of Fashion, the Royal College of Art, the London University of Art, the Rhode Island School of Design, the Savannah College of Art and Design, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the San Francisco Art Institute and other first-class art universities at home and abroad. More than 4000 students have participated in various competitions at home and abroad and won various awards. For example, students of GAD have won the first prize in the Beijing University Entrepreneurship Competition and won the gold, silver and bronze medals in the National Undergraduate Advertising Art Competition over many years.
一個助力學生良好行為習慣養成、思想道德培育和綜合素養全面提升的育人體系
Education system targeted at cultivation of sound habits, ethics and comprehensive development of students
學院以輔導員、班導師、學友導師和學生干部四支隊伍引導幫助學生全面發展。以黨團教育為主線,全面提升學生思想政治素質;以校內外志愿公益活動為載體,培養學生良好的社會責任感;以行為學分為約束,引導學生養成良好的行為習慣;以第二課堂學分為導向,鼓勵學生全面提升個人綜合素養。每學年都會有計劃組織黨團系列活動、一二九合唱比賽、微電影大賽、社區文化建設、校內外公益服務等豐富多彩的有意義、有價值的文化活動。
GAD helps students to develop in an all-round way under the guidance of four teams: counselors, class tutors, alumni tutors and student bodies. GAD follows the Party and League educational guidelines as the main approach to comprehensively improving and strengthening students' ideological and political education; using voluntary public welfare activities inside and outside of school as a means to cultivate students' good sense of social responsibility; using behavioral credits to encourage students to develop good behavioral habits. Guided by extracurricular activities, students are encouraged to demonstrate continuous personal development. Every year, there is a variety of meaningful and valuable cultural activities, such as a series of Party and Youth League activities, the December 9th choral competition, micro-film competitions, community cultural construction events, and public welfare endeavors both inside and outside the school.

○校企合作 University-Industry Cooperation
已經與廣東順德創新設計研究院及工業設計城、雅昌、思特科技、倍視、達索等近百家國內外企業建立合作辦學關系,并建立較系統的校企合作教學計劃。設置了大一學年暑假社會認知調研實踐課程。大二學年末行業調研實踐課程(期末1個月),讓學生了解企業運行規律和行業資源,認知本專業在企業中的核心競爭力,定位自己未來發展方向。大三學年將企業成功案例或開發性項目引入校內實踐課程或工作室教學,并聘請業界專家和專職教師一道組織教學和研發,強化學生將知識、技能結合到實際項目中進行轉化應用和探索創新。大四學年結合畢業設計實踐組織學生進入企業實習實踐3-5個月,讓學生深度體驗真實項目調研、策劃、設計以及市場推廣與運營等系統性能力需求和綜合應用方式;為高質量就業做準備。
GAD has established cooperative relationships with nearly 100 domestic and foreign enterprises, such as Guangdong Shunde Innovation Design Institute and Industrial Design City, Artron, Site Technology, Beishi, and Dassault, and has established a systematic school-enterprise cooperative teaching plan. A social cognitive research practice course has also been set up in the summer vacation of the freshman year. The industry research practice course at the end of the sophomore school year (one month at the end of the term) allows students to understand the operating rules of enterprises and industry resources, recognize the core competitiveness within enterprises, and position themselves for future development. In the junior school year, case studies of successful development projects are introduced into the school courses and teaching, and industry experts and full-time teachers are invited to organize teaching, research, and development, in order to strengthen students' knowledge and develop their skillset in regard to practical projects, application, exploration and innovation. In the fourth academic year, students are required to intern in enterprises for 3-5 months, so as to experience graduation design practice and experience the requirements and methods of real project research, planning, design, marketing and operations, which will prepare them for high-quality employment in the future.

There are currently 16 studios and studio teaching is an effective approach for high-quality employment prospects. We employ university professors, front-line experts from enterprises, colleges and universities, and full-time teachers to organize practical teaching based on project assignments and problem-solving tasks.
